Why you should resolve tax issues immediately

If you happen to fall into property tax arrears or if the Canada Revenue Agency is chasing you for unpaid taxes you should be contacting our office as soon as possible! You do not want to take monies owing to the government lightly. Whether it is the municipality, the township or the federal government they can place a lien against your home for taxes owing.

The interest, penalties and fees attached to these liens, in addition to the original amounts owing can be very expensive and add up quite quickly.  You need to address the matter before it gets worse. Remember, banks do not assist anyone that owes outstanding taxes. Contact our office if you have tax arrears or if you already have a lien on your home.
